  • How do I payoff the balance early?

You have the option to pay off your balance at any point in time. A 90 Days Same as Cash option allows you to pay the original cash price (plus taxes and any applicable fees) within the first 90 days of the agreement. After that, a discount is applied to your rental agreement that is determined by the terms of the contract and the  number of payments made to date.  You can contact Prince Capital at 936-646-5825 to get your payoff balance.

  • What do I do if I cannot make my payment(s)?

Your monthly Rent-to-Own payments comprise a Rental Purchase Agreement that renews every month. You have the option to end the agreement at any moment. Simply call us at 936-646-5825, and let us know the status and if we cannot make arrangements, then we will schedule the unit for pick up.

  • How do I pay extra towards the balance?

The Rent-to-Own program is a monthly leasing agreement and not a loan with installments, which means there is no principal. Rather, any additional amount that you pay beyond the monthly fee is kept in a prepaid rent account and applied towards the early payoff balance. If your account becomes overdue, the money retained in the prepaid rent account will be put towards your payment.

  • Should I purchase a Liability Damage Waiver?

As a tenant, it is your responsibility to fulfill the rental agreement, even in situations where the property is impaired or ruined. In case of an instance like a tree falling on your rented unit or being affected by a storm, the liability damage waiver (LDW) will assist in compensating for the expenses related to the unit's repair or any amount owed. It is important to note that the LDW only covers the unit and not the entire building. It's prudent to safeguard your storage building just like you would for your car or home. The LDW provides the necessary coverage without any deductible, and more information can be found in the agreement.
